Rooted in Coventry: A Day of Art, Culture & Community - Early Bird Discount Ends May 20th
Event Description
Join us at The Box, FarGo Village for Rooted in Coventry, a vibrant, one-day festival celebrating the heart and soul of our city’s creative community.
Organised by the charity Intercultural Roots as part of the national Creativity and Wellbeing Week, this special event brings together local artists, musicians, makers, and facilitators for a full day of shared joy, creativity, and connection. Tying into the national theme of "Critical Hope," the day focuses on creative health, belonging, togetherness, and nature-connectedness.
Whether you want to learn a new skill, enjoy live performances, or simply soak up the atmosphere with family and friends, there is something for everyone.

A Co-Organised Festival
Rooted in Coventry operates on a radically non-hierarchical, democratic model. Powered by the DAO CreaTech platform, this event is co-organised and co-financed by the community itself. Creatives and community members have the opportunity to sign up as co-organisers, allowing everyone to propose events, vote on the final line-up, and collectively decide how any surplus revenue is distributed to local charities and practitioners.
